LAPPIE LAPTOP!Yaaaay! I'm really looking forward to the break... Killer Homework of Doom and Destruction takes a break for a couple weeks, and hurrah for Christmas, too!!! On top of that, my laptop has officially been ordered. I didn't ever think I'd need a laptop, but with school demanding such incredible things from us, I have had no choice. It's integrated in to the curriculum, for heaven's sake.
Still, it's an AWESOME machine! I didn't know how far laptops have gotten from back in the day. I love it... I can't wait to get it! It'll be shiny and white. *nod nod* I have to thank my aunty and uncle for buying it for me... thank you so very very very, very very very much!!!! With sugar and candies and cherries on top -- Thank You! *really really really appreciates it*
The laptop (which I will name once I see it, but is as of yet nameless) isn't over-the-top and it isn't a chug machine either. It's PERFECT. It has an Intel Duo Core 2 T7500 (4MB cache, 2.2GHz, 800MHz), Dedicated 8600 M GT Nvidia graphics card, 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive with 7200RPM.... and it's gorgeously white!! Did I mention it has the Wireless-N mini-card and possesses a 17 inch anti-glare screen?! The battery is a 9-cell, too!
Okay okay, I'm getting excited. I'm not sure how that ranks in laptop-terms, but from what I've seen, it's pretty good. It only cost $1500, too! Normally it'd be around $2000... and a Macbook with similar stats woud be about $3000. SO YESH. I am quite excited, and eternally grateful to my aunt and uncle.
Maybe once I get all my software installed I'll have time to whip something up for them as a thank you gift
Speaking of whipping stuff up! I still need to mail a commission and print order to Texas (which I will hopefully do tomorrow), finish colouring a commission for the lovely =Kuragari-Vaila-chan and afterwards pay attention to one more commish request. Thankfully the latter hasn't paid in advance, so I don't feel too bad about being slow. Kuragari, though... I AM SO SORRY OMIGAWD. IT WILL BE DONE FOR CERTAIN BEFORE THE NEW YEAR (please don't kill me)
I'll miss my hubby over the holidays, but it'll be good to be home again. At least Drake and I get to go to a shnazzy dress-up-fancy Christmas party before I go!
Anywho, I should get back to work.

I have a laptop! His name be....laptop-san. It took me hours to think of an original name, he's a boy, 3 months old and his first word was an amazing: 'log in'. Er...I think ours is 120 gigs whut. Not sure about the price, dad bought it, it was $2000 or something. Windows vista is a pain tho.

And on another tangent, the time gap in relation to Sasuke/Sakura is KILLING me because they're not getting any on-screen-together time, ifyaknowwhatImean.
I really want to know what happens with those two D: they haven't even confirmed if she still loves him, and when they give them screen time he kinda tried to...um..kill her. So much love <3
Is it not coming up to Sasuke's entrance again? It'll be this season anywack.
